Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all competitions run by CoCo – Comber Competitions (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By entering our competitions, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
• You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the UK to enter. Valid photo ID will be requested before you are able to claim a prize.
• By entering any of our competitions you are confirming that you are over the age of 18. If we have reason to believe you are not older than 18 your entry will be invalid and you will be barred from any future competitions.
• Employees or associates of CoCo – Comber Competitions and their immediate family members are not eligible.
• Anyone in the UK may enter our competitions but please be aware that the vast majority of our prizes will be focused around Comber, County Down, Northern Ireland.
3. How to Enter
• Entry is available via online form submission followed by payment per entry. Free entry is also available.
• Entries are only valid upon full and verified payment. (Unless free, see Section 4)
• Maximum entries per person may be limited depending on each competition; please check the competition details.
4. Free Entry Route
You may enter any live competition for free by sending the following details by email to combercompetitions@gmail.com:
• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number
• The name of the competition you are entering (Example: £20 Sugarcane Voucher)
• Any incomplete/incorrect entries will not be entered into the draw.
• Free entries will not reduce the number of available paid entries, but will all be added into the draw with the same odds of winning as paid entries.
• Free entries will always be treated the same as paid entries.
5. Draw and Winner Selection
• All valid entries are entered into a random draw using a secure method. Each entry will be assigned a number and these numbers will be entered into a random number picker.
• The draw will be conducted live or recorded and posted on our Facebook page.
• The winner will be notified immediately via Facebook, email, or SMS. If uncontactable within 7 days, another winner may be drawn.
6. Prizes
• Prizes will be clearly stated in the competition listing.
• No cash alternative is available unless explicitly stated.
• Delivery or collection of physical prizes will be arranged with the winner.
• For local winners we will aim to have the prize to you on the same day as the draw.
7. Refunds
• All entries are final. No refunds are issued unless announced by the promoter.
• Refunds are not available unless the competition is cancelled or an error occurs on our part.
8. Personal Data
• By entering, you consent to us storing and processing your personal data to run the competition. This data includes your title, name, address, postcode, email address and phone number.
• Your data will never be sold or shared with third parties without your consent.
• Winners’ names and general location may be published for transparency purposes.
• If you wish to remain anonymous in the case of winning the draw please aim to inform us of this via email at least 1 day before the draw. If you inform us after this time and you end up winning we cannot guarantee your anonymity.
9. Liability
• We are not responsible for delays, damages, or losses incurred during prize delivery or due to third-party services (e.g., PayPal).
• Entry and participation are at your own risk.
• During any in person interactions we are not responsible for any injury that may be sustained unless caused by us.
10. Modifications and Disputes
• We reserve the right to cancel or amend any competition or these Terms and Conditions where necessary. Please check these terms regularly to keep up to date.
• In the event of a dispute, our decision is final.
• These Terms are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland.
11. Fraudulent Activity
• We reserve the right to disqualify entries or ban individuals where we believe fraudulent, abusive, or unfair methods have been used to enter.
• This includes, but is not limited to, the use of bots for buying entries, multiple accounts owned by one person and the use of fake details.
• When appropriate we will contact the relevant authorities.
Play Responsibly – Know Your Limits
•At CoCo – Comber Competitions, we believe competitions should be fun and exciting — but it’s important to play responsibly.
• Competitions can be addictive — never spend more than you can afford to lose.
• If you feel your participation in prize competitions is becoming a problem, we strongly encourage you to seek help.
• Limit your entries and consider setting a personal budget for entertainment-based spending.
• We will bar you from entry upon request. Email us at combercompetitions@gmail.com. We will bar you from entry and, if desired, block you on Facebook.
